I'm very happy to say that Auggie101 has been adopted and was placed in his forever home. He's pictured here with his new mom and new sister, Roxie. Congratulations to Auggie and his new family!!!

Poppy was recently adopted and an update from his new Dad follows:
He is doing fantastically! He let’s me know when he has to go outside and the tail hasn’t stopped wiggling I don’t think! He slept with me – and I have a king size bed that is quite high off the floor, but he jumped right up there. I do have steps that I will get out today to put near the bed – but the height didn’t seem to bother him.
Liza is a little out of joint – but that’s mostly jealously. She is learning that this is the way it’s going to be and that is it! Otherwise – she’s fine. I had to make sure I showed as much attention to her too! (just like kids!)
I let Poppy have the run of the place so he could sniff everything out and just see where everything is at. He’s enjoying doing that.
Again, thank you for the time and efforts you have put in to your volunteering! I truly do appreciate it. Please extend my thanks to Elaine too!
Thank you thank you thank you!

Buddy061 with his Dad, Mark.
Update provided by his Mom, Jane
Not a day goes by that we don't utter a "thank you" to Shorewood Rescue. In April, 2006 we adopted Buddy, a male cocker from you. Our family has been through some trying times and Buddy has truly been our buddy! He loves going for walks, sometimes in the woods behind our home and loves being a part of our family...just my husband Mark and myself. Everyone that meets him loves him. At the end of a busy day of chasing squirrels and guarding the house and us, he falls asleep on our bed. Sometime after the lights go out he goes to his own bed.
He loves to travel and "sings" with Mark...so cute!! Life would not be the same without our Buddy kisses..which we receive frequently. Buddy hit the jack pot when we adopted him, and we hit the jack pot when you delivered this very precious and special Cocker Spaniel.
Thank you,
Jane Manion
You're a very lucky boy, Buddy!!
I'm very pleased that Gypsy091 has been adopted and was placed in her forever home. Congratulations to Gypsy and her new family!!!
