Jodi: We have a one year old cocker spaniel. He is a beautiful and sweet boy. He has been very gentle with our 6 and 8 year old children. Our neighbor girl went to pet him last night and he nipped her hand. We talked and decided that we cannot keep him. Where can he go? We called the humane society (where we got him) and they said there was a chance he would be euthanized. I would hate to have that happen as we really do care for this dog. Please give me some advice soon. Thank you!
Gretchen: We're nearing our 1 year anniversary with Wilson (Barron). He is a most extraordinary friend - cuddly, sweet, well-behaved - can't say enough about him. We go the the dog park daily with his two Bernese Mountain Dog housemates - Wilson has no idea he's only 20 pounds! He is my shadow, but adores everyone. Wilson means the world to us and we're so happy to share our lives with him! Thank you SCR for the work you do!
Andrea: In August we celebrated Oliver's 7 year anniversary in his forever home. He is loved beyond measure and spoiled by his human parents and siblings. Thank you SCR for allowing us to adopt this wonderful cocker!
Erica: Today is Brody's (Brday081)1 year anniversary in his forever home. We all are totally in love with him. He knows he belongs here and is totally attached to his Mamma. He has more toys than my two kids put together and can sniff out a tennis ball anywhere. We just want to thank SCR for giving him to us. He is loved and cared for like no other cocker!!

I've Gone Home!!!

  • Mood: Very Happy

I'm so happy to announce that Juneo91 has been adopted and is living in her forever home!!

Want to share her adoption story.  The Kramschusters attended the Wigglebutt Walk last month and were very taken with June.  They desired to add her to their home but had an upcoming teacher's conference to attend so hesitated.   Neil wanted to surprise his wife so made arrangements to adopt June on the QT and said nothing...  even after his wife expressed disappointment when she checked the website and saw that June was now Adoption Pending.  He got June on Friday and took her home with him to surprise his wife.  I'm very sure that all is forgiven now!!   What an awesome surprise!!! Scoring big Hubby Points, Neil!!

June now has a new brother, Jefferson081, who they adopted last November.  Congratulations to June, Jefferson and the entire Kramschuster family!!!
