Jodi: We have a one year old cocker spaniel. He is a beautiful and sweet boy. He has been very gentle with our 6 and 8 year old children. Our neighbor girl went to pet him last night and he nipped her hand. We talked and decided that we cannot keep him. Where can he go? We called the humane society (where we got him) and they said there was a chance he would be euthanized. I would hate to have that happen as we really do care for this dog. Please give me some advice soon. Thank you!
Gretchen: We're nearing our 1 year anniversary with Wilson (Barron). He is a most extraordinary friend - cuddly, sweet, well-behaved - can't say enough about him. We go the the dog park daily with his two Bernese Mountain Dog housemates - Wilson has no idea he's only 20 pounds! He is my shadow, but adores everyone. Wilson means the world to us and we're so happy to share our lives with him! Thank you SCR for the work you do!
Andrea: In August we celebrated Oliver's 7 year anniversary in his forever home. He is loved beyond measure and spoiled by his human parents and siblings. Thank you SCR for allowing us to adopt this wonderful cocker!
Erica: Today is Brody's (Brday081)1 year anniversary in his forever home. We all are totally in love with him. He knows he belongs here and is totally attached to his Mamma. He has more toys than my two kids put together and can sniff out a tennis ball anywhere. We just want to thank SCR for giving him to us. He is loved and cared for like no other cocker!!

Update on SCR Alumni -- Cracker (Annie091)

  • Mood: Happy

Hi, just wanted to update you on our little Cracker. She is doing great her and Cookie have become great sisters. She sits really good, loves to lay on her back and waits to have her belly rubbed, can't get her to shake yet . She loves to play ball but she isn't to good at sharing the balls with Cookie, it's funny she wants all the balls, so cute. Here are a few pictures of her we wanted to share with you. As soon as I sit down she is on my lap she is a real snuggler.I am still trying to figure out what she is going to be for Halloween.   We always dress the girls up, should be interesting.

Thanks again for such a wonderful little girl,

Shelly and Dale Diddens
